What a lovely tea bowl. I am just smitten with it and love the spoon as well!

Wow, Dottie these images are absolutely beautiful! The light is incredible. The tea bowl is lovely. If you are worried about its safety, I believe Home Depot sells a little lead testing kit you could use on it to be sure. In any event, sure makes a great prop...and that spoon! Great find.

What lovely finds! The spoon is so pretty and I love, love, love the little bowl!

You've captured the light beautifully. The little jar makes a great prop...it's adorable. Fun post today!

Beautiful! Love the tea bowl and spoon. I love orange in my tea, too. Everything is so pretty!

The tea bowl is truly a piece of art Dotti! Hand made pottery of any kind is always on my list of Loves, as are hand carved wooden pieces, especially spoons. Exchanging tea sounds like a really fun thing to do...enjoy your new flavor.

Sharon

Your tea bowl reminded me of my favorite pottery on Skyline Drive in Virginia. Wonderful idea to exchange tea....

Oh that bowl is so special and the spoon.....all good! Wish I could sample your tea!

Lovely spoon and bowl and how wonderful they go together! Also, love the story of a gift from Japan that was made in Kentucky!! Made me laugh! As you know I'm not a tea drinker, but this does sound delicious! You may convert me yet!

What a fun post and I LOVE the tea cup. So funny it was made locally. Love blog friends to swap stories and gifts with!

Love that tea bowl so much, that is one of the things I collect as I always enjoy the simplicity of this culture.
