Well, I think you may know my answer to your question about the silver thing (butterfly), I like it. but you could always take it off and put it back later. Looks great in the shot. And congrats to Campbell's first recital...yes points to day for the roses...and I love how it looks like the roses are reflecting back on her face...and her expression is so cute!xo

i love the green glass bottle. she has such pretty brown eyes. such hope & fun. i bet she is just a joy to be around. you enjoy!! ( :

I love bottles and yours is a great find. The silver thing looks good in this photo, you can always take it off and put it back on later depending on your mood. Congrats to Campbell!

Oh my goodness she's adorable!!! And I love the bottle with or without the silver butterfly! I have a white pitcher I use in a lot of my shots that has an ugly picture on one side- I just turn it around! I think you should keep it on unless you hate it!

That is a pretty new bottle love the color. And her first recital, well I am sure there will be more flowers in her future and more bottles in yours. :) Have a great weekend my friend.

Such a pretty bottle, Dotti, and I like the butterfly together with the lovely daisies ... as you said 'it is Spring' :-)
Congrats to Campbell, she looks so lovely ... a real star !
Nice weekend,

Terri Porter

Absolutely love that bottle, with or without the butterfly! And look at that sweet girl! Congrats to her (and to you) for persevering and learning that piece. Can't believe how she's growing up!

a spirit of simplicity

what a beautiful granddaughter you have! She is simply lovely and what a joy it must have been to hear her playing piano. After seeing her I hardly even notice your butterfly

I love the butterfly, it adds the perfect touch to the vase. Campbell looks beautiful. You have every reason to be extremely proud of her! All her practice paid off!

Carol Hart

Congratulations to Campbell on her first recital! What a wonderful experience. Love the photo you created with that bottle. The addition of the flowers on the table at just the right angle makes a nice composition. Have a great weekend!

Cool bottle and I would like both with and without the butterfly!

What a wonderful post, Dotti. Big congratulations to the pianist from all of us. My favourite is the shot of her with the roses. Great start to the day to read and see this.

Beautiful pictures of your granddaughter! I do wish my grandchildren showed some interest in taking piano lessons but they seem to be taking after their mother who really hated hers:(

ps love the butterfly:)

Daddy's eyes!!! I love the shot at the piano-
