Was your school playground like this? Neither was mine. While waiting in the school pickup line, I quickly got out to snap this with my iPhone so I'd have something to play with during the wait in the the car. It is processed with the Waterlogue app because I wanted to be sure to have one to post for the final day of PrettyWaterlogueApril, which ends today.
It's a good thing I did. This was the most creative thing I was able to do all day. So once again, my iPhone came to the rescue ... keeping alive my 365. I'm getting to close to the end to lose it now, just two more months! Wow ... that seems hard to believe but it's true. I started on July 1, 2013 so come June 30, 2014, I'll be done.
Will I keep shooting each day? I think I will, as much as I can, but I'm not going to count and document the journey. It's a terrific exercise for improving photography skills and I want that to continue. But I also want to do it for the joy of it. While yesterday was a labor of love, some days ... like today ... it's more a labor of necessity than joy. Still, I want to make it a daily habit, however I choose to record and share it.
But for now, I'm happy to still be going and linking up today with Kim Cunningham and friends over at 'Little Things Thursday'.
Hangin' in there,
when i was in school they had all wood play systems ... i have noticed now it is mainly plastic ... but what i wonder about it how HOT it gets in the sun ... wouldn't that hurt or burn the legs or bum? OUCH!!
you are loving this app ... so neat! ( :

ummm, no... my playground looked like a set of swings in a field... but you know, I still remember it fondly and remember how exciting it was to be outside playing with friends.

Fun shot! I don't have an iphone, but there are times I so wish I did. Well done on getting so close to your goal. You can do it!

You are doing so well! I love how iPhone comes to the rescue so many times. Life just sweeps us away and remembering to bring the big gun is hard some days!

I am in my second year of doing a 365, and yes my phone come to the rescue so often. It is fun this year to look back at last year. This app looks like so much fun!

Well I am just proud of you that you have taken photography to another level with the iphone...not like your friend here still in the 20th century☺

Yup- playgrounds are certainly different! The kind we had when we were young (all metal) is considered dangerous now. Cute fun shot!
