{Day Two Hundred Eighty One}
I had so much fun with those pink astromeria yesterday that I got some pink tulips. The odd thing is, I'm not normally that fond of pink but I've been having a delightful time with it this week. As I did yesterday, I used Kim Klassen's 'Just That'. It's amazing how it softens the whole photo and helps give it a dreamy feeling.
It's been busy around here as spring makes itself at home. Mr. Peepaw has come home from work each day to work in the garden and is out there now moving our Russian Sage from the old spot to a new spot that will get more sun. So strange. When we first moved here over 29 years ago, we have virtually no shade. Now we're constantly moving our sun-loving plants in search of more sun. But then that's what gardening is all about, perpetual change.
{Day Two Hundred Eighty Two}
This is an image I took first thing this morning as I went out to get the paper. The morning light was beautiful and my iPhone was handy, so here it is. I played with it in the Waterlogue app so that I could post it to Instagram on the #prettywaterlogueapril challenge, which is to post a Waterlogue edited photo each day in April. It's a fun little app, quite addictive, I must say.
My goodness, the numbers are adding up! Before I know it, June 30 will be here and I'll have completed my 365. Although I'd like to continue the discipline of shooting everyday, I don't think I'll document them as I have this year. I find that it sometimes restricts what I'd like to do and say on the blog. I'll have to come up with another approach.
The practice of shooting photos everyday is a wonderful way to improve and grow your photography skills and, I might add, editing skills. I'm juggling several online classes in the air right now and I really need to do a better job of carving out more time to work in them. It's always hard but it's even harder once the sun comes out most days and the air warms up. Who wants to stay glued to the computer when your camera is calling you to go out and play?
That's about all I have for this day. It's Thursday so I'll be linking up with Kim at 'Little Things Thursday'. I hope you'll wander over and look around.
I'll be back on Friday with something grand that I've found to share on 'Friday Finds'. Have you found anything this week?
So pretty! Love the tulips - perfect sign of spring!

I'm not into pink, either ... but your pretty pink tulips might get me to change my mind! Love your morning waterlogue shot. I've planted things in pots in the garden so that I can move them around until they find where they want to live. Busy time!

I love pink flowers! Something so cheerful about them. Congrats on almost finishing your 365! Mine is feeling like a fool's errand right about now, but I know I'll be glad to make it as far as possible. You inspire me to continue, though it will probably be my last time. Hope Mr. PeePaw is jotting his gardening time!

Love the pink tulips. I am doing MCP Actions photo a day challenge but don't post those photos to my blog every day. It is too much to do that and post to their group page too.
It does give me photos to use in some of my blog memes and for b lack and white. I have found that shooting and editing every day is improving my skills which is why I decided to take on the challenge.
